The only thing in its favour was the spacious cabins, comfortable beds and pleasant staff. Checking in was dreadful. We were taken to the reception area and just left to fend for ourselves. The food was just OK but soup was always luke warm. In the dining room meals were plated so you did not have any choice as to how much you had and most importantly there was no hygenic hand gel to be seen. This is vital at buffet stations at which there was always a queue. Much of the entertainment was geared to the American market e.g comedy night and was difficult to follow. In the evenings you had to dodge the plethora of ships photgraphers who seemed to have set up their equipment all over the place. Children and adults were allowed to make as much noise as they liked both day and night. On several occasions we had to ask the neighbouring cabin to turn down their TV and 2am. First and last Carnival cruise for me.

Pacific dining room. Did not eat puddings as they were all cream/ice cream and cheesecake types. Usually finished with cheese and biscuits (cheese very bland)

You have now endured the good old Carnival "Fun Ship" experience! You asked for it, you got it! Not for traditional British cruisers I am afraid. Happy cruising.

Agreed. If they had done their homework upfront they would have realized that it wouldn't be for them and have selected some other cruise line instead.
