I took a mini break on the Carnival Splendour. The most annoying thing was all the agents onboard. I'm sure that is not a normal situation however them getting free drinks was a bit of a pain, as paying customers all drinks had to be paid for. The ship was ok. Been on much better, it felt a bit over the top with all the pink decor. Overall it was nice to see Amsterdam however better cruise ships do mini cruises at similar prices. This ship was too small for the day at sea, the spa was overly busy as it was too cold to go up on deck (considering it was July).
The rooms were nice, similar to Ncl ships (based on balcony) the service on board was fab, all cruise ships and companies seem to always put the customer 1st.
Getting on/off ship, took ages very annoying, worse than checking in for flights, took 2 hours to get off the ship.
