Having read other comments about this ship and the 4 day amsterdam cruise in particular, i have to say we must have been on a different ship. Yes there was lots of reporters and travel agents on board, yes we couldnt get onto the Lido deck during the naming ceremony and yes my luggage didnt arrive until dinner on the first night, but hey, we were on holiday and my wife and i loved every minute.

We too were on deck one and yes it did have some vibration but the cabins were nicer than some 4 star hotels we have visited, they were very well appointed with great comfy beds and bedding a big plus.

The resteraunts, of which we visted most from the buffet, golden pearl and the pinnacle, the service and food were indeed spledid!!!! Presentation and service were fantastic, our every request was dealt with without question, and Ken, the golden pearl matre'd ran a fantastic service.

We will (when my wife allows me) be booking again on this great ship!
