We recommend the Carnival Glory for a fun cruise. We had a balcony cabin and the steward was attentive and fresh laundry and room made up early. Food was good and we also ate in the pay for Restaurant twice - not strictly necessary but very special.
Evening shows were only average, and we've enjoyed better on nearly all our other cruises. Don't get me wrong, they were good but the rest are better.
The trips were good but expensive and the Couriers were on hand to help with purchases ensuring we didn't get diddled.
The gym was very well equipped but it must be a franchise as we got a free "health check" which led to suggestions for healthier lifestyle which led to a "free" one hour seminar which led to us paying $700 for vitamins etc. I should have seen it coming but it was so slick that they got me. I won't be using the gym again next cruise!
That said, we had one of the best trips ever and I would go on the Glory again. We also think Carnival are one of the best lines. RECOMMENDED.
