Carnival Dream Based in Port Canaveral

Carnival Cruise Lines announced this week that their new cruise ship, Carnival Dream will be based at Port Canaveral in Florida from autumn 2009. It will be the largest Fun Ship ever constructed and is currently being constructed in Italy at the Fincantieri shipyard.  

Deploying Carnival Dream to Port Canaveral will continue the cruise line’s eighteen-year relationship with the Canaveral Port Authority. As well as Carnival Dream, the line has two additional Fun Ships due to enter service; Carnival Splendor set to debut this summer in Europe and Carnival Magic in June 2011.
