Carnival’s Mystery Cruises 2008-9

Whodunit Productions and Carnival Cruise Lines have joined forces to create a series of Whodunit Cruises on Carnival Paradise, sailing from Long Beach in California. There are eight different Mystery Cruises, each lasting three days, the first departing on 31st October 2008. The cruises will entail a variety of activities for guests in the various public rooms on the cruise ship – all with the objective of solving a mystery at the end of the trip.

Participants will be given their own role to play when they arrive onboard and are encouraged to play out the traits of their character to solve the mystery. Professional actors will also be onboard to create a heightened sense of reality and atmosphere. Clues will include notes slipped under stateroom doors, and various instructions, with the winner being revealed at the end in a special cocktail party.

“Carnival is delighted to team up with Whodunit Productions to create these exciting Mystery Cruises, which offer participants an opportunity to combine a highly intriguing and entertaining activity with all the fun and relaxation of a Fun Ship cruise,” said Lynn C. Torrent, Carnival’s senior vice president of sales and guest services.

Guests can also enjoy the usual facilities onboard Carnival Paradise, such as the twelve lounges and bars, three swimming pools, casino and gambling facilities as well as a variety of casual and more formal eateries. Bookings are currently available for this unique Carnival cruise.
