Carnival Line Announce Year-Round Programme from Baltimore
Carnival Cruise Line has announced plans to launch the first-ever year-round cruise programme from the Port of Baltimore, with seven-say cruises on Carnival Pride from autumn 2009. This new schedule starts on 13th September 2009, departing on Sundays from the Maryland Port – also featuring stops at an array of other ports such as Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay, The Bahamas and Nassau. “We’re thrilled to introduce the first year-round cruise programme from Baltimore aboard the Carnival Pride, a truly magnificent Fun Ship that will visit a wide range of tropical destinations from one of America’s most historic cities,” said Gerry Cahill, Carnival’s president and CEO. “Today’s consumers are more value-conscious than ever and considering that Baltimore is within a days drive for millions of North-eastern US residents, these new seven-day voyages provide a convenient and affordable vacation option,” he added. Carnival Pride offers cruisers a wide variety of facilities such as outdoor and indoor promenades, a wedding chapel, a multi-level theatre and family friendly amenities like Club O2 and Circle C. An array of accommodations are also offered; balcony staterooms and suites, plush mattresses, Wi-Fi access as well as an Internet café. |
